How to Make Alfredo Sauce
Keeping it 100
Two things have happened this winter:
1-Waistline is spreading
2-No more free groceries
Some things have come to an end but you can't stop this badd Frugal Home Cook Chica. Since the free grocery ride had ended and so has this month, I need to be extra careful with my frugal food budget. I'm cooking for just one (for now) (by choice) (not for long) and I have exhausted the comfort food menu. Soups and chili, I banish you to the freezer for a rainy day. Ready to transition into spring. I'm breaking badd with lots of garlic and butter for my quick and easy Alfredo Sauce. Check out the recipe for my simple Shrimp Alfredo.
Alfredo Sauce , Fettuccini and Shrimp
Just because I'm on "staycation" does not mean I want to spend long stints in my little galley kitchen. I'd rather do a pedi while watching Steve Harvey and posting on Twitter and Facebook every hour.
In the Kitchen
Blow me a kiss because I made this easy for you. I did everything in two pans. Boiled the pasta and made the sauce in the same pot. Sautéed the little shrimp in cast iron and that's it.

Happy- Pharrell Williams - I am not ashamed to tell you that when I play this song, I dance like nobody's looking. I'm stuck on piano keys at the opening and the lyrics. I get my swing on like Carlton from the Fresh Prince. Don't be surprised if I use it again. It's on right now!
For the Alfredo Sauce You Will Need:
Remainder of the Recipe You will Need:
Drain pasta, set aside. Pour Alfredo Sauce in a gravy boat. Plate pasta, drizzle Alfredo Sauce and top with cooked shrimp and a dash of parsley. That's it. Ting!
