I’m constantly trying new and unique cooking techniques to improve my culinary skills. My weakest cooking skill is with the use of an outdoor grill. The warrior in me decided to conquer my fears, forget my failures and practice barbequing during the cooler Fall months. I started with a trip to the library to borrow a few books on the fine art of Barbequing. After leafing through a few pages, I felt confident and ready to fire up the grill. Now that I’m somewhat educated on the difference between Grilling and Barbequing, I decided to set a goal to become a Pitmaster.

The meat had a light and sweet smoked flavor and it was exceptionally tender. This outcome prompted some additional research and I discovered so much information that I’ll share on another blog post.
I encourage you to try different techniques. Take your cooking to new levels with a large variety of spices that pair well with your choice of meat or vegetables.
