Shugga Project Blog
Though I'm not about to give you my pound cake recipe, I will at least tell you how I made some noise for free. Yes, my darlings, some recipes are about success. Think about your ROI and establish your own sales quota, if you have one. It took me a while because I work full time. Before I launched my product, I did a lot of research. I finally release a signature baked good that I could be proud of and proceeded to "make some noise."
Tip 3 - Practice the process. When you create and stick with a process, your time and resources are managed better. In my case, I timed everything from the ingredient temperature to cooling and storage of my cake. This will help you manage your current life situation and reduce stress. Consistency is critical. Same flavor and texture every time.
Tip 4 - Establish a base price, upsell items and a goal. You're selling a product to make money so you'll need to keep track of every expense.
Tip 5 - Have a contingency plan in place. For instance, if your oven goes out, can you afford to have it repaired or replaced? Do you have an alternate place you can bake? What if you become ill? Do you have a return policy.
