I bore easy of the same foods and today I was feeling somewhat uninspired. I stood in the kitchen with all the food cabinet doors open. Just standing here, sighing and looking. You know how you start digging through stuff and discover items you haven’t used in a while? Then I asked myself, what did I get this spice for? Baking cookies or a sweet loaf or something.
Pumpkin Pie Spice and I love this flavor.
Well, I’ve had it in my coffee and I wonder what else I can use it for. It’s early and what the heck. Let me see how this would taste in my French Toast mixture. How about a glaze on my boring but lean Smoked Turkey Sausage and while I’m at it, how about some Pumpkin Pie Spice Syrup? Now I don’t have the money or the ingredients to waste, so this better be a good experiment. Right?
